We’ve received substantial and intriguing answers from fourteen international contributors. During the month of August, Roger Conover, Executive Editor of MIT Press, edited the submitted answers into a dialogue format suitable for performance. Further adapted by director Judith Barnes, we’ve cast actors for each ‘role’ and have introduced a Moderator character, whose part will be played by Charles Grodin, a great and witty actor. At this point, rehearsals are taking place for the performance, and the printing of the edited version of the text is near completion in Slovenia. On September 19th at 7:30 pm at the New York Public Library’s Celeste Bartos Forum, Invisible Symposium will be presented to the public as the opening event of the European Dream 06 Festival. This text will appear in brochure format and will be available at the Opening Gala party following the staged reading. Additionally, we are also planning to film the performance. |
